Dr. Paul Theobald, Ph. D. – Dr. Theobald began his teaching career in Minnesota public schools and is currently the Dean of the School of Education at Buena Vista University in Storm Lake, Iowa. Dr. Theobald is considered one of the nation's leading authorities on rural education and has published several books and numerous journal articles. His most recent book, Education Now: How Re-Thinking America's Past Can Change Its Future (Paradigm, 2009), won the Critic's Choice Award from the American Educational Studies Association.

Dr. Timothy Sharer, Ph.D. – Dr. Sharer is a Professor of Education and Director of Graduate Studies and founder of the Northeast Nebraska Teacher Academy in the School of Education & Counseling, at Wayne State College (NE). Dr. Sharer is one of the authors of Teaching the Book: Instructional Skills and Strategies for the Experienced and Novice Teacher (2nd edition 2012) and numerous journal publications. His teaching interests are classroom and behavior management and effective methods of interactive instruction.

Dr. Robert Sweetland, Ed.D. – Dr. Sweetland is a Professor at Wayne State College (NE). His teaching areas are in educational methods in mathematics, science and literature. Prior to that, he was an elementary teacher in Exeter, Nebraska for 16 years. Dr. Sweetland holds an Ed. D. in Administration, Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He shares his professional ideas and materials at Home of Bob and School of Bob.

Dr. James Curtiss, Ph.D. – Dr. Curtiss is Professor Emeritus at Wayne State College (NE). His teaching areas were in social and psychological foundations of education. Prior to that, he was a music teacher in Nebraska schools for 24 years. Dr. Curtiss holds a Ph.D. in Administration, Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
